Lorillard plans to launch additional non-menthol versions of Newport after the Food and Drug Administration authorized their sale last month. Lorillard’s other full-price brands, Kent and True, saw volumes decline 13 percent and 12 percent, respectively. Volumes of value-priced Old Gold and Maverick fell 9 percent and 4 percent, respectively.
